Introduction: Hypodontia of the upper lateral incisor, according to its frequency, is the second most frequent one, coming after hypodontia of the second lower premolar (excluding third molars). This developmental anomaly can represent a functional and an aesthetic problem. There is a large number of modes in the treatment of hypodontia of the maxillary lateral incisor. The objective of this study is to present a minimally invasive technique of constructing direct composite veneers in the treatment of hypodontia of the upper lateral incisor, and control results after three years.

Key words: hypodontia, dental veneers, dental composite, minimally invasive
